PRICES FOR sepagoPROFILE DROP

sepagoPROFILE administers user profiles efficiently and easily up to now optimized for terminal server environments. This will change in the near future:

sepagoPROFILE will shortly be available for desktops to give applications which are executed both on terminal servers and on desktops, e.g., via streaming technologies, the same user settings. This - at first glance seemingly insignificant - feature harbors an innovative novelty in profile management: the virtualization of user profiles. User profiles are now no longer bound to an operating system platform, but are able to roam with the user across system boundaries. This simplifies application provisioning substantially, especially as manufacturers such as VMware or Citrix already have products in their portfolio which build on this kind of virtualization.

That's why sepago is changing the licensing model for sepagoPROFILE so desktops and terminal servers are treated equally.

In future, it will not matter at which machine the user sits; the user's profile is made available by sepagoPROFILE across the operating systems. Against this background, the sepagoPROFILE is from now on licensed on a per-user basis, independent of type or number of computer platforms used.

Beyond this, sepago lowers the prices for sepagoPROFILE significantly.

To lower the entry threshold to efficient profile management, we offer as a one-off the purchase of the base package, including 100 user licences, at a price of 750,- € plus applicable VAT to each customer. This equals 50% off from the product list price.
